Gary Friend, L.C.P.

Gary received his degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University and completed his clinical training at Youth and Family Counseling. His special interest is working with couples who are experiencing marital problems.  Gary's expertise includes being a practicing podiatrist and senior partner in a medical group.  For this reason, Gary is especially qualified to work with professional partnerships and family businesses whose members are experiencing conflict.  He believes that communicative and empathic skills are essential to relating successfully and resolving conflict.  These ideas are as applicable to groups of doctors or lawyers as they are to married couples.  

Tom Hamilton, M. Div., L.C.P.C.

Tom is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents, individuals and couples.  He has training, experience and expertise working in the field of anger management, domestic battery and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.  In addition to being on the staff at YFC, Tom is a retired ordained minister maintaining a private practice focusing on the assessment and treatment of couples facing interfaith issues.  He is a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.
