Deane Happ has been at Youth and Family since 1989. She began
her tenure at the agency as a clinical intern and, after graduating
with honors from Loyola University-Chicago, she joined the counseling
staff. She specializes in treating adults with mood and anxiety
disorders. She also has expertise in treating clients with
concerns related
to relationships, employment, midlife, parenting and care giving.
Katie is a recent graduate of Loyola
University with an MSW degree. She has work experience
in hospice/end of life care and medical social work along with
her work at YFC. Her working knowledge of Spanish aids
in her expertise as she is the current coordinator of the
Hispanic after school literacy program for first through
fourth grade run by YFC. This program helps minimize the
problems that might occur as the children transition into
American society. Katie counsels children, adolescents
and their families. |
