When to Ask for Help
Our health is defined by how we think, feel and act as we face life's situations.  Health affects our stress level, our relationships, our decisions, our self-image and how we view the future.  Like physical health, emotional health is emportant at every stage of life.
If you or someone you love is experiencing sadness that does not go away, loss of interest, changes in sleeping or eating patterns, feeling life is too hard to handle, poor concentration or the inability to make decisions, a professional can help.

 Book Recommendation:
The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion

Join Lynn Moosman, MA, LCPC in a discussion of Joan Didion's gripping tale, The Year of Magical Thinking.  The book is about loss and grief and how getting through times that make no sense can send us into a state of  "magical thinking".  It is an honest look at loss and vulnerability.
The discussion will not only include the topic of loss presented in Didion's book but also the universal experience of fear and anxiety in other times of loss such as in the current economic conditions.
