February News
Youth & Family Counseling
Greetings!
Despite the frigid cold of January, YFC has put in some hot new ideas for the year. We are excited to be partnering with Cook Memorial Library to offer book ideas and discussions that will focus on emotional health. We are committed to not only counseling but also education and support for all in the community.

YFC & Cook Memorial Library Present. . . . . |
YFC is partnering with the Cook Memorial Library's book club program. At the Book Club Round-Up which will take place on Thursday, February 26, at 7 p.m. at the library, there will be four book discussions:
A library staffer and a YFC therapist will create questions for discussion. The theme that will be represented at the book club round-up is one of "life transitions". You may pick one book which you would like to read before hand and come join us. Come learn something about life transitions and enjoy the discussion from several perspectives.
We hope to make a book club discussion a monthly event.

The Truth About Love |
Book Recommendation for the Month
If you have time after reading a selection for the library's Book Club Roundup Event, check this one out in honor of February's focus on love. The Truth About Love is written by a therapist, Pat Love, Ed.D., who explains how all relationships go through some similar patterns. She talks about common myths, biological influences, outlines ups and downs, offers quizzes and discussion questions and discusses other potential problems that address the realities of relationships.
