School Consultation

YFC’s staff offers their knowledge and expertise to schools in the community who would like to discuss clinical issues relating to their programs, difficulties, growth/development and/or crises.  Some of the most common issues for consultation may include:

• Dealing with bullying/teasing in today’s world of violence
• Violence/trauma in school settings
• Working with families of troubled youth
• Gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered
• Understanding the social and emotional needs of the gifted
• The increasing trend of self-harm

Consultation can be by appointment, on a regular basis, or as a more formal seminar/presentation.  Consultation can be tailored to fit your particular needs.
